Cili44 believes that playing at an online casino should remain an enjoyable form of entertainment — not something stressful or harmful. This page outlines our commitment to responsible gambling, the control tools we provide, and how to get help should you need it.
At Cili44, responsible gambling is not just a phrase on paper – it is how we operate every day to safeguard the wellbeing of every Malaysian player.
Cili44 strictly enforces a minimum age requirement of 18 years for all members. The registration process requires age verification, and Cili44 reserves the right to request identity documents at any time to verify member eligibility. No exceptions are made, as this is a moral and legal responsibility we uphold without compromise.
Every Cili44 member can set their own daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits through their account settings. This helps you play within the financial boundaries you define for yourself. Limits take effect immediately — while requests to increase a limit are subject to a 7-day waiting period to ensure the decision is made with a clear head.
Cili44 provides a loss limit tool that lets you set the maximum amount you're willing to lose in a single session, per day, or per week. Once that limit is reached, the cili44 system will automatically end your gaming session — not left to willpower alone, but enforced directly by our platform.
Time flies when you're having fun — and sometimes you don't realise you've been sitting in front of the screen for hours. Cili44 provides session reminders and time limit options that let you decide how long you want to play each session. When the set time is up, the system will notify you and automatically end the session.
Cili44 offers two self-exclusion options — temporary (1 week to 6 months) and permanent. Temporary self-exclusion is suited for members who need a break from playing. Permanent self-exclusion is for those who wish to stop altogether. All self-exclusion requests are processed immediately and cannot be reversed within the designated period.
The cili44 support team operates 24 hours a day in Bahasa Malaysia and is ready to assist members with concerns about their gambling habits. We don't judge – we're here to help. In addition to our internal support, we also provide information on problem gambling assistance organisations operating in Malaysia.
Cili44 equips every member with practical control tools to keep their gaming experience enjoyable and in check. Here's how to access and use these tools:
Set a daily cap on how much RM you can deposit to keep a firm grip on your spending.
Weekly deposit limit controls for longer-term gaming budget planning.
The system automatically ends your session once the RM loss limit you have set has been reached.
Set a session time limit – the system will alert you and automatically end the session when time is up.
Take a break from cili44 for 1 week to 6 months – your account will be fully blocked throughout the entire period.
Permanent account closure for players who wish to stop playing on cili44 entirely, with no option to return.
Problem gambling can affect anyone — men or women, young or old, highly educated or not. Recognising the early signs is the first step toward getting the help you need. Check in with yourself honestly using the list below:
Most players Cili44 playing healthily and enjoying online casino gaming purely as entertainment. Here are some guidelines to help you stay in that category:
When people hear "responsible gambling" in the context of online casinos, some dismiss it as pure marketing — something platforms put on their website without genuinely practising it. At Cili44, we want to be upfront from the start: responsible gaming is a core value that shapes how we build our products, how we communicate with members, and how we make day-to-day operational decisions.
Why do we take this seriously? Because we understand the reality. The majority of players Cili44 playing for entertainment – enjoying a few spins of Gates of Olympus on the weekend, playing a couple of hands of Aces and Faces after dinner, or trying out a new strategy in Lucky Blackjack. For them, cili44 is a fun recreational activity, much like watching the EPL or playing badminton with friends. But we also recognise that a small number of players may develop problems with gambling – and they deserve support, not exploitation.
Online casino platforms have a significant influence on their members' gaming habits. Platform design, game speed, how bonuses are presented, and whether control tools are provided — all of these affect the playing experience. Cili44 takes a proactive approach: we design our platform with responsible gaming principles built in from the ground up, not as an afterthought.
For example, the deposit limit at Cili44 can be set by the member themselves — and requests to lower a limit take effect immediately, while requests to raise a limit are subject to a 7-day waiting period. This is neither coincidental nor a technical constraint — it is a deliberate design decision made to protect players from impulsive choices they may later regret. The deposit methods we support — Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, DuitNow, Boost, ShopeePay, and FPX — all transact in MYR, making it easy for members to track their actual spending without the confusion of currency conversion.
Cili44 has zero tolerance when it comes to protecting children and underage individuals. The minimum age of 18 is an absolute requirement for account registration, and we enforce this through a rigorous identity verification process. Any account suspected of belonging to an underage individual will be suspended immediately while an investigation is carried out, and any account confirmed to belong to an underage individual will be permanently closed, with any funds handled in accordance with the appropriate procedures.
For parents or guardians concerned about children accessing online gambling platforms, we recommend using parental control software to restrict access to specific websites. If you suspect a minor is using an account Cili44, please contact us immediately at [email protected] or via our 24/7 live chat.
A key component of responsible gambling is a proper understanding of how casino games work. All games at Cili44 uses independently certified RNG (Random Number Generator) technology – meaning every game outcome is entirely random and cannot be predicted or influenced by any party.
The RTP (Return to Player) displayed for each game – such as Video Poker at 99.5%, Lucky Blackjack at 99.2%, or Gates of Olympus at 96.5% – represents a long-term statistical average calculated over millions of spins or hands. It is not a guarantee that you will receive that percentage within any single session. In the short term, luck is the dominant factor. This is a truth that Cili44 believes every member should understand before they play.
It's also important to understand that no "system" or "strategy" can beat the house edge over the long run. A sound playing strategy can maximise the RTP of certain games — for example, basic blackjack strategy can reduce the house edge to below 0.5% — but it does not eliminate the house advantage entirely. Playing with this understanding is the true foundation of responsible gambling.
If you feel that gambling is beginning to affect your life negatively — financially, in your relationships, or your mental health — please know that you are not alone and help is available. The most important first step is to acknowledge there is a problem and seek help, not hide it.
Cili44 encourages you to reach out to our support team as a first step — we can help you activate self-exclusion, set tighter limits, or point you toward further support resources. All communications with our support team regarding gambling concerns are strictly confidential and completely non-judgmental.
Support team Cili44 operates 24/7 in Bahasa Melayu and is ready to help you activate any responsible gaming control tools or process a self-exclusion request immediately.

Remember – asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Many individuals have successfully overcome problem gambling with the right support and gone on to lead balanced, fulfilling lives. The first step starts with acknowledging the problem and reaching out for help.
Playing at Cili44 should be a fun and entertaining experience. If it starts to feel like a burden or obligation, or you find yourself thinking about playing almost all the time, that's a sign you need to take a break and perhaps seek support. We're here for you.
